About Arctic Glasstudio
Arctic Glasstudio was founded in 1994 and is run by glass artist Daniela Salathé, who moved from Switzerland to Berlevåg more than 20 years ago. Here she shapes clear and colored glass into modern functional objects, decorations, and art pieces—all handmade with precision and passion. The workshop and shop are located in Villa Borealis at Storgata 14 in Berlevåg town center, a 1950s building redesigned by architect Stein Halvorsen. Visitors can watch Daniela create glass art before their eyes and find everything from Christmas baubles and glass tiles to vases and larger artworks. The shop is wheelchair accessible, and products can also be ordered through the online store. Daniela welcomes visitors and enjoys sharing about her work with enthusiasm.
