About Terminal B
Terminal B is an exhibition and project space run by the artist collective Pikene på Broen, which since 1996 has worked with boundary-crossing art and cultural projects in and about the Barents region. The space is located in the middle of the pedestrian street in Kirkenes city center and has functioned as a cultural and social meeting point since 2017. In Terminal B you can see changing art exhibitions by professional artists, experience concerts with local and visiting musicians, participate in debates on topics relevant to the Arctic regions, and take part in workshops and guided tours. Exhibitions are typically changed every one to two months. The venue also houses a small art shop with gifts, artworks and books, as well as the offices of Pikene på Broen. The collective is also behind the art festival Barents Spektakel and the residency program BAR International. Terminal B is open year-round with free admission.
