About Snowhotel Kirkenes
Snowhotel Kirkenes is located 6 km outside Kirkenes and is the world's first snow hotel open 365 days a year. Around 20 rooms are carved out by ice and snow artists and maintained at a constant −4 °C, featuring beds and ice sculptures with breakfast and dinner included. For warmth, you can stay in cozy, luxury cabins inspired by Sámi building traditions, with views over the fjord. The facility features a winter park with reindeer and around 200 Alaskan huskies with puppies, where you can join dog sledding, snowmobile safari, ice fishing, king crab safari and northern lights hunting – in summer also tours under the midnight sun. In the round Gabba restaurant with a fireplace in the center, local Arctic cuisine is served. A complete Arctic adventure right at the border with Russia.
