About Snowhotel Kirkenes
Snowhotel Kirkenes is located 6 km outside Kirkenes and is the world's first snow hotel open 365 days a year. The approximately 20 rooms are carved out by ice and snow artists and maintain a constant −4 °C, featuring beds and ice sculptures – breakfast and dinner are included. If you prefer warmth, stay in the cozy, luxurious cabins inspired by Sami building traditions, with views toward the fjord. On the grounds you will find a winter park with reindeer and around 200 Alaskan huskies with puppies, and you can join dog sledding, snowmobile safari, ice fishing, king crab safari and northern lights hunting – in summer also tours under the midnight sun. In the round Gabba restaurant with a fireplace in the center, local Arctic cuisine is served. A complete Arctic adventure right at the border with Russia.
