About Barents Safari
Barents Safari has delivered great experiences in Norwegian Lapland since 1996 and is based in Kirkenes in Sør-Varanger. The company considers itself one of the most experienced operators in the region and offers a wide range of guided tours in both summer and winter. In summer, king crab safari with RIB boats is a highlight: guests retrieve fresh king crabs from the traps and enjoy a meal with king crab at the company's landing facility. On river boat safari, the tour goes up the Pasvik River to the Norwegian border line at Boris Gleb, with stories about the Skolt Sami history and the Orthodox cultural heritage in the border region. In addition, quad and ATV safaris and e-bike tours are offered. In winter, snowmobile safaris are arranged into the taiga forest of Pasvikdalen, to Grense Jakobselv at the Barents Sea and towards Neiden and Finland, as well as king crab safari and northern lights hunting. Tours include a local guide, warm clothing and insights into the culture and history of the border region with Russia.
