About Ekkerøy
Ekkerøy has one of the most accessible puffin colonies in Europe — you can drive almost all the way there. White-tailed eagles frequently patrol over the colony, and the shore is rich with wading birds and seabirds.
How to spot them
Kjør ut til Ekkerøy fyr; kolonien ligger like ved. Tidlig morgen og kveld gir best lys og aktivitet. Hold god avstand til fuglefjellet.
