# Hiking to Tverrbekken: A classic fell walk at Båtsfjord This moderate mountain hike follows the old access road to Båtsfjord and offers varied terrain and fine views. You start at Storbakken and climb upwards – some stretches can be a bit wet after rain, so a pram requires caution. Jonatoppen (253 m) rises majestically on the right side, before you reach Reinkalvvatnet at 207 meters elevation. Here the path divides the water. From the other side, the hike goes more southwards, and you meet the ascent from Bardosenbakken again. If you continue southwest, you will soon meet Tverrbekken – a small stream that flows from a small lake at 311 meters elevation. This is the hike's natural turning point. Want more adventure? Extend towards Røde Kors/Speiderhytta. The blue grade makes this a classic Easter hike menu.
