# Ski trip to Gahpirašjávri – An adventure in Tanas white landscape Follow your skis through beautiful terrain towards the fishing lake Gahpirašjávri, located at the foot of the distinctive Gahpiraš mountain. This approximately 13 kilometer round trip starts from Tana municipality and offers flexibility – you decide how far you want to go. The first stop is the village association cabin Bagjestuva at Bogejávri-Trangvatnet, just 1.5 km away. Good fishing opportunities await here. If you continue 6 kilometers further to Gahpirašjávri, you get both skiing and ice fishing on the same trip. Watch out for "Jervebakken" – the steep slope 4.5 kilometers along the way may be easier to walk down than to ski. The trail is not marked, but local villagers have tramped the path all the way. A perfect combination of nature, adventure and northern Norwegian fishing luck.
