# Suollovarre/Holmfjell – Challenging Mountain Bike Trail with Views Ready for a challenge? This red mountain bike trail is not for the faint of heart. With 300 meters of elevation gain and steep sections requiring both strength and technique, Suollovarre/Holmfjell promises a real adrenaline rush. The start is located at the nursery in Holmfjell. After one kilometer of gravel road driving, you turn off and follow an old tractor road uphill. From the top, you are rewarded with fantastic trail riding along the mountain before an exciting descent in Masjokdalen awaits. The trail is marked according to national standards – thanks to Finnmark County Council, Finnmarkseiendommen, and the Gjensidigestiftelsen for that. This is one of several new trails that make Varanger an adventure on two wheels.
