About Nordpol Kro

Nordpol Kro is one of Norway's most historic restaurants, established in 1864. The current owner has operated the establishment since 1985, and the inn's proud tradition continues. Nordpol Kro was the last stop for Fridtjof Nansen and his crew before the FRAM 2 expedition set out towards the North Pole in 1889.
